I have tried to see that light but it does not power on. the only lights that go on are the one that shows that the computer power is on, the light which shows that im using ac power and the harddrive light which blinks 13 times then turns off.
hey physco this may seem like a funny question but when you opened it up did you get any funny smells say like anything electrical burnt. you can also check your video cable from the lcd to make sure it is seated well, same with vid card , if it's a seperate card. any good jolt to a laptop could dislodge either of them. did you also check the mfg. site to see what the 13 blinks could mean? I don't know the model you have so I couldn't look. @sammorris why thanks sam even the sun shines on a dogs a.... uh well you know!
There was no smell when i opened the laptop. I also checked or 13 blinks but couldn't find anything and my model number is 4542GP as i mentioned before.
