Laptop screen to VGA

    got an old(ish) laptop that the shell on it has broken and too expensive to buy new shell so im ripping it apart and i want to connect a VGA connector to it or some other way of connecting an output from my 360...

    its an Emachines M5118... i was wondering if anyone has attempted something like this before with a different LCD or console... thanks alot

    also the lower half of laptop is fully working with 80gb hard drive is availible if u want it... i dont think i will be needing it if i get this to work
