    Hi Guys

So for the past 5 months I've been using my tv as a HDMI output from my laptop with absoloutely no problems.

Today I go to watch some videos and there is no sound at all. This is really strange.

Heres what I've done so far:
    1. Reinstalled all audio drivers
    2. Checked to make sure my tv is the default output in sound
    3. tried the cable with my xbox 360 and another laptop and the sound works fine.

Considering doing a wipe and fresh install but
I'm worried this could be an internal problem...

I'm running an Acer laptop with Windows Vista Home and Realtek HDMI

Hello, I'm encountering the same problem with my brand new Vaio laptop. I have to switch of the laptop screen in order to have the Blu-ray signal on the TV (by using Fn + F7). It works well... but no sound??? I have an HDTV and the connection is made with the HDMI cable. I hope someone can help me out as well, because this sucks!
