I have been splitting encoded mpeg's for at least a year and I never had this happen. After I split the file, the first half's audio goes quiet for the last 20 seconds or so. I can still see the video, but no sound. Then, I check the second half, and the video starts with the quiet part from the end of the first half and I can hear it correctly. It might seem like I am overlapping the two, but I am not. Anyone ever have this problem? Thanks

The problem might be the software. What software are you using? Try uninstalling and reinstalling this software. If that doesn't work, try using a different software of the same type and see if that works.

    Hope this helps!

I am using Tmpgenc Plus 2.5. It has worked for over a year and suddenly started doing this.Could tmpgenc somehow have gotten corrupted? Do you still think i should try to uninstall and reinstall?
