Last song on music cd skips

    I have an HP DVD420i DVD/CD burner and everytime i burn a music cd with nero the last song skips and when i flip over the cd it has a little scratch mark on the very edge of the cd. Any ideas what could be going wrong?? is it my burner? because it works fine on my laptop burner.

    i just looked at the properties of this drive and it says its a DVD 420n, but on the box it said 420i. if that is any help.

    It sounds like you may have bad media (CD-R's)!
