Hi guys can i ask a question bearing in mind i am a novice. I have the box t and i have rte sky news info. My question is all the channells are their there with the info of whats on on each channell.There is a dollar sign on the channells that dont work and not an the ones that do.When there gone are they showing blanc screens.thanks guys

 

when they are gone yes you will not be able to view them ha ha lol

yes you will get a blank screen perhaps with the info of what is supposed to be on channell

did you try factory reset and rescan to see if some other channels have changed frequency
as you should have more than rte & sly news

 

yeah i tried factory reset and rescan no joy.

 

you will get all the channels no prob even whats on them BUT you will not be able to view the ones that are switched over to N3 and the rest will soon follow

 

Are we better off just signing up to sky and forgetting about getting it for free.Can anybody tell me can i us the box T for any other purpose.

 

ya the bin only as next week the rest of the channels will be gone

 

as e45 said regards your box is just about right
but you do have other options, it just requies a bit of studying and reading on here

 

unfortunitly them boxes will only get rte 1 and a couple of others that will be it unlike the cable boxes where you can just take the cable lead out and plug direct into tv and get 20 channels approx

SO TAKE RTE CHANNELS, SKY 1 , SKY SPORTS NEWS OUT OF IT AND ALL THE REST ARE ON A FREE TO AIR BOX. WELL APPART FROM RTE WHICH YOU NEED AN AERIAL FOR(AND A TV LICENCE HA HA)

 

the only FTA ones you will get will be RTE 1 Satanta ireland and a couple of other's all the other ones ie RTE2 TV3 TV4 and bbc and utv are NOT FTA on them boxes

 

im talking about getting an rte aerial on the roof for my rte1,rte 2 tv3 tg4

and i have sat dish on roof all ready with a sky box/ or my Lemon Twin Tuner 320GB Satellite PVR box. and i get all the free to air channels on those... bbc's itv's ch4 etc etc etc. thats what i meant.
