I am sorry to hear that. I actually haven't tried to burn any audio CDs myself yet. I shall have to try it.

Have you made any enquries with Nero help?

They took a while with my problem, but ultimately they did come up with a solution (band aid granted but a solution none the less).

adriaense, Nero should burn an audio CD just fine. If you are having problems, post a NeroHistory log after you attempt a burn. Maybe start another thread.

drno68, the "fix" you posted wasn't Nero's idea, it was put forward back in February,or so. The reason for using it then was the video would stop but the counter would continue to run. Changing to the Microsoft Navigator fixed that situation. Your situation seems different from that, but it may be related. I don't think I have had a problem with ShowTime for several updates, but they are adding HD capability, so something may be going on.

Thanks for the background Saltgrass. I wasn't aware of the earlier comments.

I also had this problem with Nero ShowTime but I couldn't change the bookmark settings. Then I started regedit and searched for Nero DVD Navigator entries and deleted everything I found. Now the player works just fine for me. I only got one error message saying it can't play HD DTS audio but you can simply ignore it.

Perfect solution - thank you, Raziel86.

I only found two entries for Nero DVD Navigator in my registry, so this is a quick and easy fix.

I get the error message for Missing features: DTS HD decoding every time I start ShowTime, but I just click OK and the DVD plays.

I don't know if you ever solved your problem or not with Showtime not playing DVD movies but I was having the same problem and e-mailed Nero. This is the reply I received and it worked. I also have the latest version of Nero, 7.5.9. I don't know how to attach the referred to file here but if you e-mail them your problem they will send you this updated NeDVD.ax file.

"Please copy the attached file to c:/program files/common files/ahead/dsfilter.
Before, rename the old NeDVD.ax file to NeDVD.ax_alt or delete it.
    Please restart your system now."

    thers has been an update...
    Problems stay the same.

I think ahead must first solve all the problems in nero 7 before they put some newfeatures in nero.
