latest software for starview 1 ??

Hi im looking for the new auto roll software for starview orignal in ireland.

Hi I'm new to this site and come in search of help!

My Starview box has just gone down. Turned it on and it simply says "data is being uploaded" and it repeatedly does this, over and over.

whats going on? why has so many staview boxes gone down at once?

I can get 1,2,3,4 and 5 but no pay channels/sky channels etc.

I'm in the west midlands. Anyone have any idea what may be wrong? have the codes been scrambled or something?

I have no idea what version box i have, how do i find this out? The box has worked fine for the past 10 months!

I am totally new to all this, my mate i bought the box off months back already tuned it in for me so i have no idea how to sort these codes and things out.

Can someone give an idiots guide, step by step on wat to do?

any help will be greatly appreciated

 

have downloaded the file for starview 1 but my comp says unknown format or damaged can anyone help please,cheers

 

Do some of you use braille keyboards or or do you have serious eyesight problem? The guys just posted the link to rapidshare so you can download and you still ask where do I download the file,

they should rename this site harryandlyold.com

no doubt some one will ask for codes like the 400 hundred other posts that clutter up the place

 

no offence lad but i must be in trouble as i have down loaded new fix and flashed it and still nothing i do have s/v 1 original but no joy can anyone help

 

You did check that you have a genuine box and not a clone didnt you? As this is for Genuine box's only mate

 

The new firmware works a treat. Just updloaded onto *view and set both Key Data lines to 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00.

Then went to £-4-view channel and the auto roll works as it did b4.

Just wanna say a BIG Thanks to fergusrb and everyone else involved in getting these boxes working everytime.

have unrared the file m8

it should show up as
CryptStar-v1.4-core400.bin
then you use the GTROM v400.exe
to apply the patch

 

How do you know if a box is an original or a clone?

Also, from the box alone, how can you tell what version of starview you have?

Tafsir are you a programmer for the starview boxes? if so, can you post me a step by step guide on how to get mine working?! I'm totally knew to all this, my box is identicle to this
