First post here lads so excuse my naivety/ignorance.

Vut a long story short, the lass I bought my starview box from usually gives me the new codes every time the box needs updating, but she's a pain in her arse with me ringing her everytime the box scrambles itself and the channels disappear, so she suggested I come online and find the codes myself.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you can help me out.

    Cheers

You could always update the firmware on your Starvi*w

You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.

    Null Modem Cable

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

    USB Adapter

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...t10&doy=search&MenuName=USB to Serial Adaptor

These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased alot cheaper on fleabay.

All firmware/loader can be found in the link at the end of my post marked Eamos Library.

You will need the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.

You will need version 4.00 firmware for GENUINES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
You will need version 2.57_FIXED firmware for CLONES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
You will need version 4.50 firmware for THE B0X IRELAND found in "THE B0X" firmware folder.
You will need version 4.51 firmware for THE B0X UK found in "THE B0X" firmware folder.

And please download the Starvi*w PDF guide,(this will give you step by step instructions on how to do everything. This can be found in the Starvi*w Documentation folder in the link.
