   If the LCD Monitor Specification states 1024 x 768 resolution and Scaling for viewing of full-screen images of resolutions less than 1024 x 768. Does it mean I wont be able to change the resolution of the screen to 1280x1024?

   sounds like it, but a make and model nmber of the monitor would be grand.
