    Hi,
I'm having trouble with designing a website & getting colors to display correctly.
I've been building the site on my laptop, using 'web friendly' colors for maximum compatibility.
However, when I viewed my site on my CRT screen PC (and subsequently 2 other CRTs) the colors are way off.
For example, the HEX color CC,FF,99 on my LCD laptop is a nice, mellow light green with yellowish tinge.
On my PC, this color is a harsh, sharp, bright green.
    Which is closer?

I want to aim my site at the widest audience (which I presume will now be LCD) - but will all LCD's view a similar color to what I am seeing?
What do your monitors display this color as?

Is there a way I can calibrate my laptop to reflect my CRT (or vice-versa) ?

    Thanks!
