I'm had this 52x for about 6 mo with Nero 5.5 now and every other mounth I'm coppying somthing where I have to use a special features of it like creating an iso or a udf cd... I don't know what the heck those things are so this is my question.

    1. CD-rom (iso)
    2. CD extra
    3. Video CD
    4. Super Video CD
    5. CD-ROM Boot
    6. CD-ROM Hybrid
    7. CD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
    8. CD-ROM (UDF)

I know these are CD-ROM formsts but what I need or should I say, want to know, is what are they used for and in when would you use them, what purpose do they serve.

I have other questions but I can't think of any now, so I let this be as it is now and when I get the answer to this question it'll intreig others.

    1) CD-ROM (ISO)= to burn data and music(mp3 library)
    2) CD Extra= used to burn music cd that has a video
    3) Video CD or VCD= to burn a MPEG1
    4) Super Video CD(SVCD)= to burn MPEG2
    5) CD-ROM Boot= speaks for itself
    6) CD-ROM Hybrid= I've never used
    7) CD-ROM UDF\ISO= used to burn to a cd-rw
    8) CD-ROM UDF= used to burn to a cd-rw

My answers may not be 100% accurate as I'm not a Nero "freak".
