I expect it to come out in the spring games rush of 2008 (the period of february to march where tonnes of games came out, last year we had C&C3, Supreme commander and Stalker within 6 weeks, and far more than just those came out during that time). I'm eagerly awaiting it.
My housemate Paul has just received Halo 3 and will no doubt be glued to the TV until he's finished it. I have to admit for a game running on a standard 24" CRT TV it does look pretty impressive.

For those seeking Halo3, Newegg.com has it on sale for $53.99 free shipping, use code EMC925viga01 for the deal (got an E-mail from them this AM)

Well Halo isn't a PC twitch shooter. You can't expect Unreal Tournament from Halo, but all in all a great game.

My Bitch: We're starting to get quite a few people who have the gaul to come in seeking government services with expired "resident alien" cards. So too, I understand that other philly offices are getting equally bold clients who mysteriously have the same social security number as other clients (I haven't run into that one yet). Naturally, we can't provide services but it sort of ticks me off. I know this borders on politics so I'm not really looking for responses but it is my legitimate bitch as I get stuck having to deal with it.

If you get too bored, you can start playing the game: "See how fast you can make them run out of the room" by saying things like:

"I'm sorry, it says here that you're dead."

"You're government services have expired for the next ten years, you decided to use them all at once; remember?"

"HEY! That's MY social security number TOO!" (Must be said similar to a two year old)

Take a picture of them--print it out and cut out the face--pull out a pinata--tape their face to the pinata...(I'm sorry, this one is borderline... I'll take it down if anyone's offended.)

    Just a few suggestions.

(NOTE: If anyone thinks I actually want him to do this, then I'm sorry for misleading you. This entire comment was completely sarcastic.)

    I like Auslander's solution, gerry!

You should be at least able to confiscate the illegal cards so they have to go back and pay for new illegal ones. Edit: That's my bitch so I'm on topic.

Gigabyte is my favorite manufacturer right now...I have 3 up and running...

I also like some of the DFI's...I am building a DFI HTCP comp this weekend...If all the parts arrive as scheduled...

Not a big fan of ASUS...they seem to be a real "Hit & Miss" Right Now...

My Bitch for the Day...That Moron "Mark Ecko" is going to Brand Bonds home run ball with a *...then give it to the Baseball Hall of Fame...

No Respect for the accomplishment...or the Game...

If Coopertown excepts it...I know I will never visit the place...and will hold it in Contempt...

It is a Piece of History that is being Destroyed as a Publicity Stunt...What a Shame...

An anonymous reader writes "This morning a hacker posted the personal contact information and credit card data of 1,200 ebay users on the eBay.com Trust & Saftey forums. eBay pulled the Trust & Safety forums off line, but not before one user made a video of the hacked forums and posted it on youtube.com. eBay response is on the eBay chatter page, and seems to try and down play this "fraudster"'s activity."

I guess I have a bitch associated with the baseball situation. With a lot of the players just playing for the money and no respect for the sport, I no longer care much for baseball. My loss of enthusiasm started some time ago when the players started ruining seasons out of greed. How much money do they need to continue playing? Most players make incomes most of us dream of. Most professional sports suffer from steroid use and selfish players. With all the steroids in use, who knows if it's the drugs making the score or the player. Tell me Bonds hasn't used steroids. Just recently the Tour de France winner was invalidated for steroids. The drugs have ruined sports. They make for a good game to watch, but where is the line for steroid and nonsteroid records. Branding Bond's record ball is a bit extreme, but it makes a point. Was it a record for a player or for drugs? As Bonds pointed out, the record stands. Along with the record the drug scandal will be part of baseball history. Many baseball purists still think the old record is the one that has meaning.
