Awesome! I just got back from my grandma's house. Turns out my mom had her get a play and charge kit for me. Therefore, no complaint from me today. :)

    WONDER WHERE I AM
(to the tune of Winter Wonderland)

    At the office Christmas party,
I started out with a Bacardi.
    I didn't get sauced,
    But, right now, I'm lost!
It's Christmas and I wonder where I am!

    I had a beer at my brother's,
Had egg nog at my mother's,
    Then two bottles of wine.
    Which automobile's mine?
It's Christmas and I wonder where I am!

Someone caught me dancing with a snowman.
Policemen came and put me in their car.
They asked, 'Are you drunk?' And I said, 'No, man,
But could you drop me off at the next bar?'

    I guess my wife must be missing;
Who's this dog that I'm kissing?
    They say his name's 'Spot',
    And he likes me...a lot!!
It's Christmas and I wonder where I am!

I was looking for a lady I could dance with,
And so I stood beneath the mistletoes.
Someone said, 'You'd have a better chance if
You take the lamp shade off and put back on your clothes'!

Well it's time to be going.
I'm naked! Is it still snowing?
    It's time I should leave,
But I'll be back New Year's Eve!!!
It's Christmas and I wonder where I am!
It's Christmas and I wonder where I am!

Have you seen my hat; I wouldn't want to freeze!
What a party!! Don't you wish you were me?!?!?

    My bitch, no 8800GTS :(

But I did get a brand new PSP! My sister got me a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo(YES!!!) and I got a copy of Killzone Liberation which is actually a decent game.

Loaded it with music and videos and I still have 2GB of space left.

Nice Christmas gift for me. I love the hell out of it :)

At least you got a good game, a decent portable console and a great memory stick to boot. :p

Yeah, actually after playing the game for a few hours I felt like the next bus load was full of dead brain cells! :p

I was snooping around newegg and I noticed a wicked sweet gaming case (apart from some minor Dremel work I would need to do based on some reviews) too bad I don't have the $160 I need to purchase it and an extra 120mm fan for the side exhaust. The case is located here

EDIT (by Pop_Smith): Added a link to the case, just to show what I mean.

Dang, I hate Black Friday (too many people) but saving myself ~$40 (the tax in my state would be about $6, were as the shipping is $15!) would have been worth it. I would have got the hookup as my friend works at CompUSA so I am sure he could have saved me one. :p Too bad, it seems I am almost never "in the know" until its too late.

Oh well I just stumbled across the case today so that means I will just have to keep an eye out, maybe I can convince my parents to get it for my b-day in March. :p

    My bitch,

Battery life on the PSP sucks.

Played killzone for 2 1/2 hours and she died. Translates to about 7 1/2 or 8 hours playing music and maybe 3-5 playing movies.

I'm going to the Wal-Mart today and I'm gonna see if they have a replacement battery I love called the X2. It has 3600mAh vs 1800mAh in the stock pack and 2200 in the official improved version.

Tests took it through moderate to heavy use. A few hours of gaming, some movies, and a bit of music and it came out to 10-11 hours steady. Should be just what I need.

That battery pack sounds like a winner Estuansis. Just make sure you charge it fully first (I think, check the instructions to be sure) before you use it. That way it gets its optimum battery life going from the start.

I am not sure what the battery type is (i.e. Lithium-ion) but certain types will loose "memory", aka its ability to charge up to a specific amount of play time, if you don't let them fully charge before first use and let them fully die before you plug them in.

If I find the battery types I will post a list. :p

    Peace

    MY BITCH FOR TODAY:
I've lucked out so far, no snow and slush to walk through, but I've tempted fate enough and went and bought a good pair of boots. I arrived and found hundreds and hundreds of boxes all containing only ONE BOOT. If you want to try the second, you have to remove the first, find a salesman (no easy task either) and give them the first boot so that he/she can go to the storeroom to get the corresponsing boot should you have a desire to actually try them both but trying them both at the same time was against store policy. Should you decide you want to buy the boots, you bring the one shoe to the cash register and wait in line ... the salesperson will bring the second boot to the security desk. When you cash out, the cashier phones the security guard to bring the second boot! The store was "Burlington Coat Factory" and even in crime ridden philly, I must admit I've never seen such a complicated procedure to buy a pair of damned boots! What a world!

at least the heel of the boots are in the right spot compared to a train car load in the former soviet union in the early mid 80's that had the heels mounted on the toe of the boots.
