Teacher Accused of Having Sex With Five Boys

CLINTON, S.C. (WLTX, AP) -- Authorities say a 23-year-old female middle school teacher was arrested Wednesday, accused of having sex with five boys in locations including the school, at a motel, in a park and behind a restaurant.
Clinton Public Safety Director John Thomas says some of the 14- and 15-year-old victims were students at Bell Street Middle School in Laurens School District 56, where Allenna Williams Ward taught. Others went to a different school.

"The families are very upset and my heart and prayers go out to the victims. It is a horrible thing and they are going to struggle with this for a while," Thomas said.

Investigators say there could be more victims.

Warrants show Ward is charged with five counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and six counts of lewd acts on a minor. The incidents occurred between November and continued up through the past few weeks.

"The community is awfully upset and I would think that those emotions are going to spill over to the schools, and the parents. The children are our upmost importance, and right now, we're making sure they get what they need," Thomas said.

Thomas says police began investigating Ward after a note containing inappropriate messages was given to school officials on February 22. According to investigators, the note was passed during class to one of the boys, then thrown in the trash.

"The note was just inappropriate. For a teacher to pass a student a note--with the severity of the note's message--that sent up red flags and we knew we had something deeper to look into," said Thomas, on how the case unfolded.

School district officials say they held an emergency meeting and fired Ward from her job. Thursday morning, bond was set at $110,000: $10,000 for each of the eleven charges. Terms of her bond include no contact with the alleged victims, no cell phone use, and if she posts bond, Ward is under house arrest.

Her next court hearing is scheduled for April.

SOME OF YE MIGHT HAVE A BITCH IF YE USED THIS SERVICE AND YE NAME IS ON THE LIST

D.C. Madame to Sell 10,000 Phone Records of High-End Washington Clients

Deborah J. Palfrey is unhappy. And, if you know who Deborah J. Palfrey is—and especially if you know her by Jeane—you probably don’t want her unhappy. From 1993 until this past summer, Palfrey ran Pamela Martin and Associates, a “high-end adult fantasy firm which offered legal sexual and erotic services across the spectrum of adult sexual behavior,” according to a statement she put out today hoping to raise funds for her legal defense.

The way she plans to raise those funds could reverberate through Washington’s power corridors. She is considering “selling the entire 46 pounds of detailed and itemized phone records for the 13 year period,” reports The Politico's Ryan Grim. In October, the Internal Revenue Service seized her assets; the sale of the records would fund her fight against the seizure.

Palfrey released what she said were a sample of the records, which don’t include names, but do feature a number of Washington area exchanges.

Her attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, said that prices have yet to be set for the data. “We don’t actually know that yet,” he said, “because we haven’t finished mining the data to identify the individuals. Obviously if Bill Clinton’s on the list that’s a different matter than you know, somebody nobody’s ever heard of before.”

But, he said, chances are good that some interesting names will pop up. “Statistically, if you have 10,000 people, and given the structure of this particular service, these weren’t people beckoning from car windows,” he said. “The escorts only responded to four and five star hotels or private residences. And so the landlines will show up on the private residences real quickly.”

I just awarded him a Gold Medal in the Mental Midget Olympics.
Just wait until he searches for the guide on how to play VHS or Betamax porn tapes in his PSP.

We should get a committee together to dish out the "Afterdawn Darwin Award" for the most stupid post of the month, and from those the dumbest of the year. I'm sure some talented member could design a nice ribbon/cup to be added into the said members sig for the duration of the award. Make it something to almost be proud of..

Imagine the kudos of being AD Numty of the Year!! Priceless..

Otherwise I'm feeling pretty flat and bored. there is a reason for my rather "off" posts today.

Mother arrested in child sex, endangerment case

GRAYSON -- County and state law enforcement officers arrested a woman here today on suspicion of 12 counts of child endangerment and two counts of unlawful sex with a minor, all felonies. Anna J. Walker-Vogt, 35, is suspected of buying alcohol for a group of Patterson teenagers after a high school basketball game Jan. 19 and then forcing them to leave before about 3 a.m. Saturday when her husband -- an Atwater police officer -- was headed home after work. Witnesses said Walker-Vogt picked up a group of teenagers in her truck, then brought them to her house for a party to celebrate the homecoming of her 16-year-old son. The teenagers said they were forced to leave after drinking. A vehicle driven by one of the teens later crashed, injuring 11 of its 13 occupants.

At 4:50 p.m. today, a convoy of five Stanislaus County sheriff's car, five California Highway Patrol cruisers and five unmarked police vehicles drove to Walker-Vogt's home on Minnie Street. Wearing bulletproof vests and with guns drawn, they fanned out around the front of the home and began knocking on the front door. For 10 minutes, there was no answer.Sheriff's deputies were preparing to enter the home by force when Walker-Vogt's husband emerged from a side pass leading to the back yard.He spoke briefly with investigators and led them down the path onto his property into the backyard.

At 5:04 p.m., the front door opened and more than a dozen sheriff's and CHP investigators went inside. Sheriff's spokesman deputy Royjindar Singh said the family did not immediately open the door because "they said they were in the backyard and couldn't hear us."

At 5:28 p.m., Walker-Vogt's husband and three other family members walked out of the home, got into a pickup and drove off. Singh said they all were interviewed and allowed to leave.

At 6 p.m. investigators still were searching the home room by room, Singh said. Walker-Vogt remained inside. Singh said she is cooperating with investigators and will be booked into county jail tonight. In addition to the 14 felony counts, Walker-Vogt also faces six misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Singh said. Teenagers at the party said Walker-Vogt bought them alcohol, then kicked the intoxicated teens out of the house just before 3 a.m. According to witnesses, Walker-Vogt ended the party and paid 18-year-old Robert Garcia Jr. $50 to drive the teenagers home. Garcia and his brother Christopher got into the front of a 1989 Toyota 4Runner and 11 teens piled into the bed of the vehicle. The vehicle, driven by Robert Garcia, swerved into the northbound lane of Highway 33 near Westley. Garcia said he overcorrected and the vehicle rolled -- ejecting the 11 teens in the back. The teenagers' injuries ranged from a fractured spine to neck wounds that required stitches. Garcia was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was released on $25,000 bail.

According to witness statements, Walker-Vogt has held other parties at her house and provided alcohol to minors.
