    just curious as to why so many of the senior members are so harsh to the newbies. do you guys really get a bunch of spam-retards in here?
    when a forum has almost 200 threads and each thread has around a hundred posts, and a search yields enough responses that it would take hours to browse through, why flame someone for being too intimidated to wade through that crap?

    @lifelike

    That's a decent enough question [Edit:(about the threads)]? I've pointed that out once, don't know where and probably couldn't find it either. Not all of us are soon to pounce. Everyone deserves their own question answered. But some of them are absolutely lame. Some of the threads could probably best be hidden. But accessible.Just my two cents. Hang around, you can learn a whole lot!

    Like the sig, mine could use a little animation. Do not have the patience for PhotoShop, when I play with it I start wanting to take up smoking again. I will gladly take you up on the offer and thank you for doing it for me :)

    A Question for moderators (or anyone who knows) regarding pics: if a piece of fine art hanging in the Louvre has exposed breasts and/or other private bits exposed, is it "distasteful" to put a pic of this painting in a post? Should I go into photoshop and digitalize the private parts or put pasties and/or fig leaves on them or something?

    I ask this for a reason; my friend is getting married for the third time...again, to a total bitch. He dates the nicest women, but then meets and marries the wicked witch of the west and divorces after a couple of years because he's nagged to death! As a present (or a joke) I was going to order an oil reproduction of this particular oil painting called The Remorse of Orestes by William-Adolph Bouguereau but don't know if posting such a pic, albeit fine art, in a forum is considered bad taste. Can one post a pic such as this: sure does give the message about being nagged, don't you think?

    Personally, I don't find it distasteful but I do not know about others or what the rules are on this. I remember back they used to put a fig leaf on poor Michaelangelo's David when they showed the sculpture on TV. How sad that there are those that feel true beauty of art needs to be covered up.

    I guess I could go into photoshop and put some little tassle pasties on the ladies LOL! Kind of gives the message about being nagged to death, don't you think LOL!

    Edit: lots of edits...left the glasses home and can't see the monitor too well!

    What can I say, I passed puberty a long time ago so I look at art now for art's sake. But once upon a time in youth, that pic would have been a real turn on ;)

    Edit but that was before the internet, and you can see much more now.

    Lol, yes I would haunt the mailbox for those. The african tribeswomen were very daring. Life would really get good when I could get a hold of a Playboy. How tame compared to today :)
