Hi, i was going to buy the LG BD370 Blu Ray player for my first Blu Ray player because of it's mkv support, but i have since found out it can't handle 1080i or interlaced Blu Ray discs.

Not to be technical, apparently you will lose half the vertical resolution for some reason, considering the dvd's i buy the most are wildlife programs and are 1080i, this has come as a major draw back

I was thinking about buying the Western Digital Media player but many people are said to be experiencing problems with audio sync issues with mkv files, is this a real problem and can it be corrected if the audio is converted to AC3 etc.

Would a popcorn hour be better or does this to have sync issues, i've read it is not that reliable, so just needed some advice, thanks.
