ok I have an lg dvd recorder with vcr it is about 6 months old and it started to lockup recently when you watch dvds I was wondering what causes this and can I fix it.
Try unplugging it for about 15 minutes to reset the unit, and while you have it unplugged CAREFULLY take of the top cover and see if there's any dust build up and blow it out... Make sure your disks are clean and try again... Also make sure that it has adequate ventilation. See if that helps out any. Otherwise hope you kept the reciept cause it may be a hardware error. Hopefully it isn't because that is usually a hassle...
