Hey Guys; Just got done building my brand new comp.; and its working better than ever. The only problem is that my dvd burner is only showing up in xp as a cd reader/writer. So; do you think I need to update the firmware??? Also; please provide a link to a WORKING firmware update; for I have not found one yet. Thank You and that is all! --Halen5150
Make sure you have the jumpers set right.. See this.. http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/TheGuides/Jumper Settings for your Drive.pdf I don't think there are any firmware updates our for your drive yet either..
My new LG's had to be set to cable select [CS] to work with my comp.Just installed Friday. LG's disc also has auto update on it straight to LG site. Chris
