    Hi,
I recently bought a Lidl satellite system and it is working a treat, my question is can the decoders be programmed like the starview boxes to decode all of the channels? The decoders I'm using are the Silvercrest 65 and 65/12.
    Cheers.

Some of these can be patched to receive some encrypted satellite channels. Although they look the same there are a few different versions of both models available. They have a different Chipset. The latest SL65 (E1 Chip) sold in Lidls last month does not have a patch available at the moment. The one with the B chipset is easiest to patch.

    Hi,
Been off line for a couple of days so sorry for the long delay in replying, thanks for the feedback, it was worth asking though. As they say " you can't be told no 'til you ask".
    Best wishes.
