Limited Edition Xbox Question

Does anyone know what dvd drive the limited edition xbox comes?

 

try opening the box and look at the label on the dvd drive it will tell u what is it.

 

if its the halo one, youll get a samsung, thats what i got on mines

 

yeah, I got 2 of them and both have samsung in it...
i think phillips and samsung are the most common on the halo xbox

 

I bought one and got the Phillips drive

 

spidahman, what media did you use to make your evox boot disc? cd-r? <-- this worked for my bios boot disc, but for some reason it aint working with my evolution x boot disc. did you use cd-rw? if so what kind

 

If you flashed your bios with a cdrw, then your boot disk will work with the same brand of cdrw, i promise...

Make sure you are burning it right.

 

I havent gotten any of that stuff, all ive done is ordered a 200 gb HD and once I get it Ima take my system tto get modded by this one guy who freequents my local game store(gameforce) hopefully he is willing to teach me a little bit, and hooks me up with the stuff I need for future mods...

I tried asking folks here for a slayers 2.5 but no one was willing to hook me up yet.... Ill mod my xbox by next week for sure and that doaxbv nude is on an poppin...lol
