    Hi all

Well, since my migration over to Debian, I am now left with one program left to find the equivilent of...VSO.

I used to use VSO divx2DVD. I need a program as similar as this as possible, highlighting VSO's features: ease of use, good support, etc.

Is there such a program? Purely to convert divx/xvid and mpeg's to DVD format.

    Thanks all

    Hong

Well since as far as I can tell DivX2DVD is basically a GUI for libavcodec/libavformat that side of it shouldn't be an issue, however the whole automated simple interface with DVD authoring might.

Still you can use libavcodec/format via ffmpeg or mencoder for encoding.

I have downloaded mencoder, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to use it!!

Do you know of any good guide, for mencoder or ffmpeg? I know google will brings loads, thats why i am asking if you know of a decent one :p

    Thanks
