    dm800hd is fine recording in that it records all the freezing the tuner picks up

    Well as im sure you are aware the DM 800 can only record one channel,ive got an internal 250gb HDD in mine and to record could not be easier just press the red button

    on my blade i can record one channel and watch a different channel at the same time, I have tried this several times on a 500GB sata usb hard drive and works to perfection.

    You should be able to record 2 channels at a time whilst watching another gerrard.

    not tried that yet, but i read on manual that can be achieved...thanks though.
