No GeForce 4's are not supported.

And Radeon 9200's do work, but only if you set them at 4X AGP. I have integrated Radeon 9200 graphics(128MB), and it won't work. I guess pci won't work either in that case.

Other games also seem really slow or won't even start up, like BF2. Does anyone know why???

Well, you do have a pci card...which is the slowest compared to AGP and PCI Express.

lol yeah cheers for that. And even if your your GeForce 4 did work...it would be bad to the point where the game would be unplayable. And you know that the minimum video memory you need for Battlefield 2 is 128MB right?

I have a ATI Radeon X850 and am having troubles installing the game. I noticed in the readme files and the thread above said this video card is not supported for the game. I noticed aabbccdd said that his/her X850 ran the game.

When I am installing the game a message says put in CD 2. I did and immediately after Battlefield 2 InstallShield Wizard freezes at "C:\...\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Objects_client.zip

I am wondering if this is because of my video card or someother reasons. Thank you much.

    aabbccdd,
Sorry, but I need more help. I am definately not what you call "computer literate". Just looking to play the game. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was this difficult.

Could you explain to me what I need to download (the download link) and how to install it? I would be grateful to you. I lost the receipt to this $50 dollar game. Now I am gonna get this game going or die trying. So far, dying seems less frustrating at the moment.

    Thanks again.

I have played very well on both an X800GTO and an X850XT. I think it means the series... like X800 series and X700 series... I mean, don't tell me an X700 will run it and an X700XT won't.

@AceGamer... wow... your video will do great but either way you're going to get a slide show because you really need at least 1GB of RAM. A small $80 investment will go a long way.
