I have a full blown movie theater in my home, so some movies I hated in the past became better watching them on a good A/V system.

Among the best: Fifth Element & Kill Bill 1
Among The Worst: The Tanabaums & Ocean 12

 

Best - Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back
Worst - The Cell

 

My top movies that I liked were (in no type of order)

Chappelle's Show season 1 and 2

Kill Bill vol.1 and 2

I thought one of the worst movies I saw was
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. (pretty bad)

the second blair witch was better than the first, but that isn't too hard to beat anyway so that really doesn't say much. I liked all the Austin Powers movies, all the American Pie movies, all the movies with Jay and Silent Bob (don't know if you'd call them sequels though), Terminator 2 was the best Terminator movie. Can't think of any more right now.

Oh yeah, the Royal Tenenbaums really did suck pretty bad, almost as much as Life Aquatic.

 

lol i agree with u about the life aquatic.., I should have put it as the worst movie, not the 1st LOTR. I got about half an hour into the movie and shut it off lol. Waste of good dvd

 

my backup of that movie came out skipping like crazy, but that actually made the movie better in that case. After I watched it it went straight to the garbage, which I usually don't do with bad movies.

the worst movie for me has to be the new Phantom of the Opera.... i can't believe i let my girlfriend rent that one...

 

HUH, last I remember that wasn't a movie, but fine television though.

The Life Aquatic was not bad, just like the Royal Tannebuams, it cant be aprecaited until you reach the end and think of it as a movie as a whole. consider it as a piece of art, you don't just look at one part of it and say, "hey that part is cool" you take a step back, look at the whole thing and marvel in its brilliance.

as far as sequels go, there are a few sequels that are better than the original. Yes all the lord of the Rings, Godfather II, and terminator 2. Not all the star wars sequels were great, Empire was the best of them all, Jedi was OK.

American pie sequels, no way.
X2: Xmen United was better than the first.
Spiderman 2 was better than the first.
Young Guns 2 was better than the first.
Sherk 2 was better than the first.
The Good, Bad, and the Ugly was better than a fist full of dollars
Batman Returns was better than Batman (Batman Begins was better too but not really a sequel)
Indian Jones and the Last Crusade was better than Raiders of the Lost Ark and better than the temple of Doom
Aliens was better than Alien
Superman 2 is better than Superman
Lethal Weapon 4 was the best of all of the lethal Weapon movies

There are quite a few out there, but not many

also ive been thinking about this horror movie back in the days where
these kids have too spent the night at a mortuary inside
and they all start dying it was in the 80's anybody remeber this movie

or a frankenstein 3d movie(gory) i would love to know the names
