Liteon ATAPI DVD A DH20A1P Wont Burn To Disc - Burner Dirty Error With Nero Even Though Its New

I got a new burner a couple of months ago as my old one failed.
It wouldnt burn to disc but would read discs no problem.

I ended up getting the Liteon ATAPI DVD A DH20A1P & all was well...
...For a few weeks.

Then it started playing up & now it refuses to burn to disc at all.
It reads discs no problem, but just like my old burner it refuses to burn to disc.
When i try to burn to disc with Nero or Convertxtodvd it always failed & says The burner is dirty.

I ended up trying CloneDVD & it worked for a while,
but now i'm left with no way of burning stuff to disc.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
I opened up the burner & cleaned it out, even though it was spotless.

When i go into my computer it says: DVD-RAM Dive (E).

What brand of media are you using to try to burn? Does the burner recognize the media? Have you checked for an updated firmware for the burner?

 

ichecked for updated firmware but couldnt find any..

ive tried loads of differebt discs incl Verbatim, but still no luck.
I just tried 2 flash my drive & it worked but still dont know if it works or not..
