First of all i would like to say hello to everyone. My question is, i have a sony dcr-dvd201, and i also have adobe premiere 6.5, what do i need to capture video, do i need a firewire connection or a cature card or both, i don't have either on my pc..
Yes, you'll need a firewire connection. You can buy an internal card for less than $20. If you are uncomfortable opening your PC I think I've seen external dongles with a firewire port that you plug into a USB port. These would be more expensive than the above though. I don't think I would go that route unless I had USB 2.
