This great little tv records from freeview+ straight to usb stick in mpeg-4 (I think) I bought the X19 (19") version for the office, £140 from Aldi with 4gb sandisk usb memory stick (The box says the tv is made specifically for Aldi). It can also playback .avi files. Maybe the bigger sets have the same facility worth keeping an eye out for.
