when you consider london went thru the blitz during the second world war than getting bombed by v1 & v2 missiles towards the end of the war. so they had practice compared to washington dc
We've had bomb attacks in the UK since the sixties, with the IRA, funnily enough they got money from America. How things change! People forget that the Loyalists killed more people in Ireland than the IRA did. The difference being that the Loyalists never brought the "war" to the mainland. Mainly as the Loyalists were the Protestants, & supporters of the UK government.
