I meant AOL Instant Messenger Convos. (conversaions)--Isnt there a way that I can look at my AIM conversations on my computer? Arent they automaticly saved in a archive file or something? Where is that file?? How can i look at them? My mom told me that she has looked at them, but she wont tell me how to get to it. How do i get to it? Thanx

I don't think there is a way to look at old conversations but you can use a keylogger. Does your mom use the same computer as you or does she have access to your account?

If you don't here is a general idea: itt allows you to secretly record all user's activities on a computer, such as web sites visited, login/password of ICQ, MSN, AOL, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger or Webmail, windows opened, application executed, Internet chats, every key pressed, Email, and even take snapshots of the entire Windows desktop at set intervals, just like a invisible surveillance camera pointed directly at the PC monitor. With keyloggers you can spy on your spouse, kids, employees, or any people you are concerned about.

Your mom might be using one of these.

No. There is nothing installed. There is no keylogger. She said that it takes a long process.(Not like 1 hour)..Just 1 minute or 2 minutes to find. she is lazy. Are you sure there isnt anything else? Like a file that is wi8th the AIM files? She said that it is easy to do, and she would show me somtime. But I need to see it be4 she does. I KNOW that she is telling the truth. I just know. Are you sure theres no other way? I googled it but couldn't get anything. What next?

Ah ha! I think I found the file. I have Trillian that combines all of the instant messenger programs so this might be a bit different for you. Go to the Program Files, AOL Instant Messenger, Users, Default, Log, Query, then you'll see the files in the form of Notepad documents.

Not used AOL for years, but the first place I'd look would be c:\documents and settings\**your user name**\application data

In there maybe an AOL or AIM folder, have a look around.

    Total guess though :)

    Hope it helps.
