    Hey ppl,

Im lookin for a nice cheap projector (im a student, that cheap lol) that I will mainly use for gaming and watching films.

I went looking for and came across this which caught my eye:

    Sony VPL EX3

    Here are the specs:

    Native Resolution: XGA (1024x768)
Projection System: 3 LCD panels, 1 lens system
Brightness: 2000 ansi lumens or 1500
    contrast ratio: 300:1
    Lamp life 2000/3000 hrs

i think that they are the main things one would need to know.
Ive yet to find a review on this things, but there are consumer reviews that say picture is brilliant.

It also states its HD (supports 720p and 1080i) ready which is excellent as well.

Another things, for inputs it has 2 HD D-Sub 15 pin (RGB/Component).Ive read this is is a common feature with Sony TVs as well. So is there a cable with Component on one end with the D-sub? Because I will want to buy a component cable for my ps2 and dvd player etc for optimum quality.

This selling for £640 which is an absolute bargain from my point of view.

What do you ppl think? Lame? If so, anythin similar with a similar price?

    cheers,
