    I deliberately keep threads like this open purely to catch more spammer scum. Sometimes i close them, but i subscribe to half of Afterdawn so when certain thread replies appear in my inbox i can tell it's spam

    If you want to stay free you can use VLC player as suggested or you can use DVDShrink or DVDDecryptor and then use hand brake or something similar (I think pspvideo9 might work but im not sure). This process normally takes me about 1 hour because DVDShrink and DVDDecryptor normally take about 30 minutes for me and handbrake takes about the same time. Hope this helps and if anyone knows a program better than handbrake please tell me.
