I took a stroll down to Pacific Mall in Toronto but no one was carrying anything for the xbox. Does anyone know where I can go buy one. I don't want to buy one online cause #1 my CC is maxed, #2 I don't want to wait for delivery.

    thanks Abysmal,

modchip.ca looks good but there price seems a bit high. Add on the shipping and delivery it gets real expensive. I'm sure with a bit more reaserch I'll find someone who sells them here.

www.modchipman.com has your hook-up and is in Canada, very reliable customer support, quick turn-around on orders. I got a modded x-box with 120 hd and aircooler for under 400.00 u.s. Good luck!

    ********* update ********

Well it seems modchip.ca is giving me the run around.

After emailing me a tracking number and confirmation
they've completed my order It's been almost 2 weeks
since I ordered from them and nada. I emailed inquiring
about my order a few days ago and got this reply.

Now they don't give you a phone number to call nor do
they give you a estimated time as to when I'll receive my
shipment. Anyone else with ever order from modchip.ca
and can give us your experience?

yeah i have ordered from them a 2.3b lite+ and it has been about two weeks or more since i have ordered. I got a tracking number and then they got a shipment, but they didn't have enogh to fill all orders. now i have to wait till the 30th when the factories in asia open so that MoDCHIP.CA CAN get more in stock! I am getting tired of waiting, but i guess i can wait lol. They are usualy very fast. I bought my first chip from them withought a problem.

i think the most notable thing is that the Pro version version has four banks that you can flash to and the lite version only has two. i also think you don't need a programmer to flash the Pro version, while if you screw up on the lite one you'll have to buy a programmer.

    thanks daskins

looks like modchip.ca is getting ready to ship to all those who ordered pre- feb. 1st

    http://www.modchip.ca/box2.html

good thing they updated there page with status about the 2.3 lite + otherwise I would have switched my order to a XENIUM. and then have had to fork out extra cash for the solderless adapter. So I'm assuming I'll have my chip in about 6 business days.

From what I've been reading around about modchip.ca I'm starting to wonder about there credibility. If I don't have my chip in the next week I'm canceling my order.

just visited the update site for modchip.ca and it says that you con't cancell the orders anymore since they are about to ship them out and can't reverse the shipping. somehting like that. But they are giving a 1 years warranty instead of a 30 DA WARANTY so thata something good right.

    PEACE
