Ok well i just purchased the CPU and the MSI GPU. I didnt realize that my father had ordered the GPU for me already after i had posted that link. Oh well im not paying for it :). Cant beat free right?

However i was a little worried by the 7 day return policy on the CPU. Why do they only have 7 day warranty on them or am i missing something?

    *edit*

HD-DVD Transformers ISthe best. USA early releases FTW!

The 7 days is just the return policy of the online retailer, It's not the warranty on the GPU.

And I hate to say this, but I wasn't overly impressed with Transformers. I'd give it a 6/10 tops.

Zomg! The movie was pretty corny at almost all times but it was still pretty dang sweet. Lots of stuff blowing up almost all the time.

    *Spoilers?*

Optimus Prime totally gets pwn'd at the end. He just lucked out..

I know people who hate it, I know people who love it. I fall into the latter. Who needs plot? :D

Well, thats excatly what I thought after I watched it, There did'nt seem to be any real plot to the movie, I thought it was kinda one of those movies that leaves you saying "why the hell did they make this in the first place?".
But hey I'll watch it again, sometimes movies gotta grow on you.

I am looking to build my own computer. I have never built my own computer, but I have installed hard drives, dvd burners, ram, and sound cards. I am looking for some help to decide what parts to buy. I use my computer mainly for downloading music, burning dvds, word processing, and some gaming. (I am not playing any games right now, but I am looking to play Diablo 3 when/if it ever comes out.) I would like to build a computer that is fast and will last for a while. I would like to stay in the $700 - $800 price range, but if spending a little more will make my computer a lot better I would not be against doing so. Please any help for a nOOb?!

I can help you out, but this really belongs in the official PC building thread. I'm not telling you off, but more people will be able to help in there.

    Well anyways..

I have officially purchased everything i need. Still not sure about my OS though.. Its either Vista (Im one of the few people that actually enjoy vista) or XP Media Center Edition..

Nothing has come in the mail yet but it all should arrive *Knock on wood* by this Friday.

You will be seeing plenty more questions as soon as i attempt to install them.

I still cant figure where the cathodes install to! I think i need a another plug or something..

All decent power supplies have overhead, so you can go marginally over the rated wattage before they shut down, some PSUs advertise it, so it's not such an unknown quantity. For good PSUs it's around 50W.

In the antec 900 case where is the best spot to install the HDD so it gets the best cooling and it wont bump up against the GPU?

Well, any slot except for the one that's on the same level as the GPU. Surely you didn't need me to tell you that!
