I recently restored an older HP computer using my Win. 7 disk, (not a factory restore),
Just realized I had some old photos on it. Is there any way I can get them back? T.I.A.

I think that would depend on just what kind of install you did.. If you did a clean install it probably formatted over them but if you did an upgrade it may have keep them in a c:/windows folder named Old Computer or something like that. It usually puts strange characters in front of the folder like $*% so it will keep it at the top of the list.. Look in C:/Windows or if they were kept on a separate partition then look for that possibility... Lots of Luck:)

Should be in the same folder as they were in the old computer. Just copy and paste them to the new systems pictures folder.

as 2old says if you have a folder saying windows old you will find it in there, if you saved it on your desktop then >windows old>desktop? your pictures folder what ever it was called. No need for data recovery, your file is in windows old

Not me my windows are bricked up. I've seen enough bad things in my life. And a girl selfie is not what I want to see. Quack Quack
