Lost sound

I have lost sound on channel 4 on n~l in Dublin.Any ideas out there

 

write down the frequence of the channels with no sound.go to channel edit and delete them.go to installtion manual scan the channel.the channels will be at the end of the channel list

 

I tried that and re scanned with no luck

 

I have my sound back but I have doubled up on my channels when I done the re scan any clues on this one

 

the ones with no sound delete them in channel edit

 

I still keep ending up with one channel with no sound after re scan

 

do the manual scan of that channel

 

Do you mean just press manual scan and the what should I see.I have done this an ended up with about 12 existing channels as well.

Hi back again should I have a cd and cable for downloads with this box.If so where do I get them

 

Hi Phil,

You should have received a CD and cable when you bought the box.

All the software that is on the CD can be downloaded - see the links after Ryan's posts.

If you want the cable you will have to buy one - eBay, Maplins & I think Peats in Ireland.

However if you box is working fine, there is a school of thought that says do not bother to change the software.

 

Ok thanks, I will apply murphys law as it is going well I will leave it so.As a matter of interest what is the name of the site where I can download the information in the event of having to go this road.
