I ripped a dvd to my hard drive and burned it. After that, I right-clicked the folder and clicked delete. I got a message saying "The folder "DvD" is too big for the Recycle Bin. Do you want to permanently delete it?" I then clicked yes to all. It deleted the files but I never got the space back on my hard drive. Can someone help me get that space back? Thanks!

Yes. I also ran a Check Disk to see if it would catch the error but it didnt do anything.

WHAT OS, I will assume windows xp. Could be system restore. Try turning off. CAUTION YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR PREVIOUS RESTORE POINTS.
...OR OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER and start looking

Do a search based on date or file size to see what big files are hanging around you can delete.
