Have MKV movie with English text and when using ConvertXToDVD the resulting DVD does not have the English text.

The movie in MKV has the text but the film does show a separate file for subs.

How do I get the text to appear in the DVD file just like they were in the MKV?

    Download MkvExtractGui and MkvToolnix

    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVExtractGUI
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/mkvtoolnix

Install MkvToolnix - note the location where it's installed..

Extract the two folders from the 'MKVExtractGUI-1.6.4.1Wizard-1.2.zip' download.

Copy the files from the 'MKVExtractGUI-1.6.4.1' folder into the folder where MkvToolnix is installed.

Run MkvextractGui from the MkvToolnix installation folder.

Load the .mkv file and Extract the subtitles (hopefully a format like .srt or anything else that ConVertX can use).

Thank you for the reply and the detailed instructions.

Tried it tonight............and it worked just as you instructed.

Thanks for ending the frustrating efforts to get this to work which had not been leading to any success until your reply.

    Thank you again!
