Low volume

    Hello, when I back up my older cd's the volume on them is very low (on the original and the back up) any idea on what I might be able to do to fix this? Thanks

    What I usually do is rip them to .flac files.. using a cd ripper (db-poweramp is probably the easiest) then open them in an audio editor.. something like audacity .. increase the volume and then burn back to audio cd.. it's a lossless process as long as you don't convert them to something nasty like mp3
