i hate the M3! i bought mine in china, and i can only get the chinese version to work, does anyone know how to either patch the chinese version or like an english pack to it?

whenever english software is loaded, it says "no system file found etc" and "language:chinese" at the top of the lower screen.

and youre guide was pretty awesome, much better than the company one.

    PM or email me. noemailallowed@here.com

its just a normal folder(if it isn't a single folder put all files into a folder) and call t SYSTEM after unzippimg make sure the folder called SYSTEm isn't in any folder at all, yes the root is the first page (mine is E/) so after putting the system on it should be E/SYSTEM/ if all goes wrong make sure that the directory isn't E/SYSTEM/SYSTEM because some unzippers make the folder in a copy older of itself?

there is a guide earlier thread on how to change to english it is a soldering job though but a very easy one(I hear)

I don't think he will see that but another sweet gem I have found is this:
-Move all GBA games and DS games into a folder on the root called 'MyGames' 'Jhon'sGames' 'Games' or whatever you wish
-Move 'MyGames' onto the root(Make sure there are NO subfolders/subdirectories)
    -Run the M3Real
-Open the 'games' or 'gba' section
-Press start and it will come up with a choose directory screen
    -choose 'MyGames'
-Repeat for the section you didn't do previously
By GBA and Games section I mean the first two buttons on the home screen that allow you to run roms.

The directory folder can also be reached by 'Touching' the 'folder' in the bottom right corner whilst at the rom select screen it looks like a folder followed by an asteric(*) and .NDS
    ('Folder'*.NDS)

I was thinking of making a guide on skinning M3R,GBAlpha ,how to play movies in GBAlpha aswell as this post all the basics and any other hints and tips I have found... who thinks this a good idea?
(see previous posts for other contributions) besides Mr.Hankys still needs a lot of work in my eyes.

About the PSP you need to download a cracked version of software this may be the wrong crowd for knowledge on that but I know that you need a large memory stick(2gb outta do it) and put the crack software on that there is no third party device neede if you wish i can find out more for you aswell as where to get the software)

About the IPod you should place it on the root( /E is my root bassiacally the first page of the M3 SD) this is because the M3 edits the file to work(this is DLDI patching) then run it through the MYCARD option.

This is the DS forum. For PSP stuff post in those forums.
The 'equivalent' would be a Sony or SanDisk pro duo memory stick.
But to play dl'd games you need to have a psp running custom firmware.
Check the stickies in the mod & firmware forum.

I received my 4GB microHCSD card today and boy it's fast. I suggest people use the FAT file system as it is surprisingly faster.

    Here's proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHGfok5_Kh8

    I tested FAT32 - not as quick.

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to leave a little tip for those new to the M3 Real scene and are getting in-game freezes. On top of needing a possible reformatting, or getting a bad rom, or needing to update your firmware, another possible solution is simply turning the soft reset off.

For me, all my games worked except Metroid Prime: Hunters, which would freeze at different spots, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, which would freeze whenever I picked up the sea chart.

Metroid and Zelda stopped freezing once I turned the soft reset off for those games.

I hope that helps some of you out there.

Soft-reset is really obvious. Extra options will sometimes cause the game to freeze.

Also try buying a microHCSD card, and try playing on the Download Play option.
