Two ways, I've only used one. What you need is called a "linker". This is a USB device which can read your GBA cart for a GBA linker, or a DS cart for a DS linker. I have never used this so can't vouch for how well it works (or not). The other way is to get a backup from the web. It is against list rules to link to sources for this so you will have to dig it out yourself - not too hard to do. Make sure you only backup carts you have bought.
Searching other forum sites I found that you could also try turning off Soft reset. read it on GBATemp, but havn't tried it.
Thankz SonicMC,i try out the turn off all cheat and soft reset and it work great. All games can be play without any problems now.You should try it too =) now u can try out all game(inculdin those mircophone ones)
Hi! I just bought the m3 real rumble and i cant use it... I searched for an answer but couldnt find it. My problem is: i tried with the last loader avaiable, the 4.1, i copied all the files in the SYSTEM directory, but when i try to load a game i got the message "creating save file etc etc" and everything freezes and i have to turn off the nds. I have a nds (not the lite version) and i'm using a 4gb sandisk card. i tried with the m3 sakura loader and it freezes while loading for a game, i tried with the older version of the official loader and i still have the same problem. i tried to format the card but nothing happened. Plus i have a strange glitch in the menu', all the images near the name od the ds game are messed up, the icons in the main menu' moves too fast with both the version of the loader i tried. I dont know what to do, i think my next move will be smashing into piece the card. grrrrrrr Please help me
Taking that you copied the whole "system" file across and not just its contents, created the game folder as (NDS) all capitals. It should work fine. So Faulty M3 card - I have had one that the menu looked fine but as you moved through the game list things started to vanish and it would not play games. I had 2 cards so was able to fault find very easily, send it back for replacement!
wow thanks for the fast reply! i copied the whole system folder, so now the root directory of the card has two folders NDS, SYSTEM, and etc etc, i did as the guide told me to do but i really cant find a way to load a game. maybe it is really a faulty card. or maybe the problem it's in the way i copy the game files on the memory card? i use m3 game manager, i choose to write the game and to trim roms (i tried to not trim roms but the results are the same...). ah that's too bad, i'm a total noob in these things and this was the first approach i had with the nds cards... everything went bad.
With M3 official software (4.1) You Do not need to use game manager to put the roms on to the card, simply drag and drop an untrimmed .nds game file from your computer into the NDS folder (you can trim later but first make sure the card is working) When the unit was first turned on it should have asked for the Language, then it should show the main menu (7 icons) the first (top left) is a picture of the DS, double click and you should get the game list. Double click a game and it should start the game.
There are fake M3Real cards in circulation now, They don't provide a language selection at startup and do not support M3Real firmware. Try older firmware, Try Sakura, find information on imitation cards and if you can prove that your M3Real is indeed a fake then report the site which you got it from. More information on imitation cards can be found on M3's website or through google.
OOOOOOO! OMG it works now! the problem was in the way i put the games on the card! i just dragged and dropped now and it works! and all thanks to you especially kittymat! now thanks to you i'll be able to play rather than spending time trying to get a refound! i really apprecciate your kindness! thanks again!
Quick question that I cant find in the guide about gameboy color games. I have the M3 real with the 256mbit expansion pack. All my DS and GBA games work perfectly. But I'm having trouble with gameboy color games. I put the GBC roms in the GBA folder and boot them, but they run in black and white and most of them give an error message saying that they can only be played on GBC and GBA systems. Is there a step I'm missing? Do I have to patch the roms or something?
To play gameboy colour games you need to run an emulator first, A popular one is called 'lameboy' and it is available at a pretty up-to date website called 'linfox domain'. Try it, see if it helps, if it does come back and thank me... I don't think that the ram is even necessary for gbc games.
hay guys i tryed downloading the m3 ds real loader from the link u guys give butt its not working. is there another way to go about it.
Go to http://www.europe-nintendo.com/foru...3sakura-thread-latest-firmware-downloads.html Download links for M3Real, Sakura and Sakura-ITouch dual boot are available. Great site I reccomend that you all visit regularly, Geo was a large component of the creation of Sakura. Other than that an alternative site is http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/
Well, i've downloaded m3sakura and i used it. it's pretty cool except i'm a bit disappointed there's no menu for sakura. most of the games i tried worked while some games didn't(they just froze when i tried to play them)wonder why... i mean i kept cheats off and no soft reset on. oh yeah soft reset...how do you turn it on? it doesn't work for me... i' mean i can turn on cheats and everything except i tried to switch on soft reset but all it says is 'off' no on or anyithing! and homebrew stuff doesn't work for me. i tried dsorganise but it just ended up on a white screen.
Anything that doesn't run in sakura, Games or Homebrew, needs to be boioted in ITouch. To do that hold Y whilst booting the DS up.
ty. But my ds freezes when i start some ds games, how do i solve this problem( i turned soft reset off, cheats off, no microphone games etc still doesn't work) And for ages since i got my m3 real, sometimes when i'm playing it suddenly says ' please turn off ds, cartridge has been removed. and also when i turn my ds on, m3 real doesn't load sometimes. and somehow i can't turn soft reset on!
Sounds as if you have the loose cartridge syndrome. Put a piece of paper or thin card to force the M3 card towards the connection pins This helps mine, I only get the no card inserted about once a month now!
