I see you have edited your post from
so I guess you have already realised the mistake :p

The latest firmware is now actually v1.10 I cannot remember the change log for each new release but I believe they are mainly bug fixes for various games with v1.10 to fix Final Fantasy.

The download site I link to is obviously not being updated any more, so I will change it to the M3 website (which unfortunately is usually very slow for downloading)

The M3 Simply cannot connect to the Wii version of Pokemon at the moment, I doubt it is a hardware problem and it could possibly be fixed in a future update however it is unclear why it is taking so long to be done.

The M3 DS Simply does not and will not support SDHC, if this is an important feature I would recommend buying a new cart that does support SDHC (such as the M3 DS Real or DS TopToy)

I had a little look through the forum, and apparently it wont work if you have a sandisk card - i got the 4gb sandisk one and i had the same problem as you, have now ordered a 2gb Kingston card which, hopefully, will work as someone said elsewhere.

try asking in the r4 thread.

m3 software on r4 is more hassell than it's worth.

    I need some help,

    A) For Hardware I have a 1) DS Light, 2) M3 DS Simply, 3) Kingston 4 GB Micro SDHC card.

    B) For Software I have down loaded and extracted the "System_v1.10-English" on my computer.

    C) I have copied the two folders "_system_" and "moonshl" and the two files "_DS_MENU" AND "_DS_MSHL.NDS" onto the micro card.

    D) I have added one program onto the card under a game folder.

    E) When I turn on the DS with the cards in the slot, I get the first white Nintendo DS screens on the top and bottom for about 2.5 - 3.0 sec. Then the bottom screen goes black and the top screen goes black with the words says "Loading..." for ever.

Question: I am trying to get the main menu to boot up but nothing happens, what am I doing wrong?

Oh yea, I also formated the Micro card with FAT32 and default allocation size before putting any files on the card.

Thanks, I did have a much more reliable (and faster) site than the M3 site but they stopped updating the site with the latest firmwares so I had to switch back to the M3 site.

Zak2008, Backup your game files, saved games, etc. and reformat your Micro SD card. Make sure you format it in FAT 16 (FAT). Copy over the M3 1.10 firmware files to the root of the card and copy your games and saved game data back over.

1.10 is working fine for me, so there must have been something that got screwed up on you SD card.

I thought the same thing when I came to AD looking for the MID codes for a few 900Mb CD-Rs I had, then 500 posts later here I am. :) In other words, you're welcome and we'll see you soon. ;P

    SHO456,

We're not here to help you acquire bootleg games so let's not ask again.

Hi - hope someone can help me............

I got an M3 Simply for Xmas, and just can't get it to work on my (new as well !) DS Lite.
I have formatted (FAT16) the 1G flash, downloaded and xferred the 2 folders and 2 files from V1.10 as shown in the guide.
Made a game folder in the root and added some .NDS game files

When I turn on the DS, it shows the "M3 DS simply" in the top screen, and the bottom one has the 3 icons for game/multimedia/and "Boot Slot-2"

I press the game icon, get the directory, That then shows the games.

I press for one of the games - it shows ..........loading..........

The both screens just go blamk it won't do anything ??

I have tried a different card, reloading all the firmware, different games - but nothing seems to work.

I would REALLY appreciate any help or ideas about what to do as I really want to play my games on my new DS

thanks a bunch for any help !!!!
