***M3 DS Simply Guide***

Can you play wireless against another DS using the M3 simply if so how

 

Yes, do it just like you would with a normal game. (as long as your rom doesn't have the online portion trimmed out)

 

thks joshewah, I must have my online trimmed out, how do I go about fixing this missing bit?

 

No prob. Once its been trimmed out you are going to have to get a new complete rom. I don't see how you would be able to recover the missing portion.

 

Hey all - I'm VERY new to all of this, but I'm about ready to smash my new DS Lite so I'm coming to you to see if you can please help!!

I read this thread, along with several others, and here's where I'm at.

I have 3 different M3DS Simply's, Two 4GB San Disk MicroSD cards, and also 1 2GB SanDisk MicroSD'S. All 3 SD's were formatted according to the directions in this thread.

Then I went to the site that was recommended, and downloaded the software for the M3, as mine did not come with any. I unpacked it, and here is what I have in my "root" (by "root" I'm referring to the first level in my removable drive) file on my flash drive.

_system_ (folder)
Games (folder)
moonshl (folder)
DS_Menu (file) - Type is Video CD Movie
_DS_MSHL (file) - Type is NDS File

I have no idea where I'm going wrong because no matter which of the MicroSD cards I try, when inserted into my M3Simply, and then into the DS Lite, upon powering up I get a black screen that says "Loading" and then NOTHING HAPPENS.

I'm at a loss - I can't believe that all THREE of my MicroSD cards could be corrupted. I guess it's possible, but not likely. PLEASE tell me someone out there has another suggestion. I'm REALLY hoping that this is just a user error and that maybe it's just a step I'm missing, or that I'm using the wrong software or something. Please help - I'm really at a loss, and any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!

hey everyone... i bought a M3 DS Simply from model-gadget.com and I NEVER GOT IT!!! I keep on sending them emails and no response whatsoever... this is a warning to all newbies and beginners out there... dont buy from them or they'll steal your money. Thats all. thanks.

 

Hi Guys. I have been trying in vain to get hold of a M3 DS Simply Cart.. and when I eventually found one I purchased their last 2.. so if anybody wants to buy one I have a spare!!

Well, after reading through some of the other threads in this forum, and MANY frustrating wasted hours of effort, I finally figured out that 4GB microsd's just don't work. I tried the 2GB SanDisk again and it finally worked - I just had to format it a few times...

Also, in case it helps anyone else, I bought my M3 Simply's from Gameyeeeah and they were BY FAR the lowest price I found anywhere. Bought 3 and paid only $34.15 per, plus shipping. Had them sent via DHL and start to finish, had them in my hands in a little less than a week. No complaints.

Andrea, you must be one of the "chosen few"... they have my dollar$ and as far as I know my M3 DS Simply!!

 

model-gadget.com no longer stocks these, it has the R4 V2 tho, i dont know if its the same or what... anyone know anywhere else in UK that sells the simply or real?

 

AddictSupplies is a good UK site, though they're out of stock on almost everything atm.

 

Hey DuffyDack.. I couldn't find 'em for love or money but when I did I bought their last two so I now have a spare! You can have it for £32.50 which is what I paid for it should you not be able to source from elsewhere.. just a thought!

 

this may not be the right place to post this, but whenever I try to load a game in my M3 Simply, they all say 'Could not load data. Turn Off and reinsert game cart'

Is there a way to fix this?

 

wat type of card do i need to get to copy games on for nds lite as lookin at forums some were $799 and got reply back saying sum were 40 to 50 euro

 

Any ideas anyone ?? I still can't get them to work - I have 2 complete sets, and neither simply card works on either machine. The DS's are the newstyle ones - do you think that may are something to do with it ??

I know this sound n00b-ish, but how do you put something in the root of your card. Do you just put it in without any folder, or do you have to rename it with an underscore? (I thought I heard somewhere that you have to do that)

 

Just put it straight on the card, not in any folders.

 

Hiya.. is there any luck with getting the M3 DS Simply to allow me to transfer Pokemon Diamond Pokémon to Battle Revolution?

When I select "Connect to Wii" the screens just go white and nothing happens, even with firmware 1.10 :/
