the way i got the m3 simply card to work for the games was to do the following....

Unpack the M3 DS Simply software to your PC. Now you need to copy the following files over to your new MicroSD card. (formatted to FAT16)
    • _DS_MENU.NDS
    • _DS_MNSHL.NDS
    • The complete folder called Software V1.01

This will allow you to play the games on the DS.

    hope this works for you

1 go to Kiwiclx's M3DSS File Repository see his post above

    2 download version 1.03 software

    3 format stick

4 copy all files form version 1.03 onto stick

5 make new folder on root of stick GAMES

6 copy Games into GAMES folder and you are ready to roll

I guess it does matter if its not formatted to FAT16?

Also, why is it that when I load the game the screen goes blank?

I mean everything works up until I load a game, because it WILL load, though nothing happens at all, giving me either a blank "white" screen or a blank "black" screen.

I'm no expert but I don't think so I always format in fat 32, have a go as I discribed from above starting from scratch and let me know what happens. I have have problems with sd cards not working and one m3 simple which I had to send back. Are the roms you are loading ok can you get more to see if its the roms that are not working ?

Right, I tried formatting it to FAT16. Everything went smooth as before, but the same thing happened when I load a game. I just end up gettin a "blank" screen. I think I'm gonna try purchasing another mini SD card and see how it goes from there.

If anyone has another solution to my problem, please post!

    Thank you!

Erm.... I don't know what I did, but the M3 DS Simply now works for me.

I think it's cause everytime it asks me to create a save for the game, I always press ignore.

But this time I thought, hmm, doesn't matter either way, so I'll create a save for it. And the funniest thing was.... IT WORKED!

    Thanks guys!

Games area simple case of drag and drop the .nds file onto your MicroSD card and load them using the Games icon of the M3.

Movies need to be converted to .dpg (i use BatchDPG, google it) then dragged onto the MicroSD card, these are then played by loading Moonshell using the Media icon of the M3.

I don't listen to music on my DS as it isn't very good quality (i'm a bit of an audiophile), I have a couple of iPods and a Zen Vision for music.

I would expect music files of a high bitrate to cause problems if you try to play them on the DS, try lowering the bitrate and see if it fixes the freezing problem.
