M3 DS Simply Slot 1 Ready for Release!

is there a reason people r ordering from modchipstore.com instead of divineo.com, becuase divineo are cheaper. am i mising something.

 

For me, the difference in price between the two does not mean as mch as the difference in shipping time. Divineo is still showing just as a pre-order while modchipstore.com is in stock now. In addition, it took one day to get my order from modchipstore vs when I ordered my GBA cart from divineo it took over two weeks. Big difference.

 

i've been on divineo.cn instead and they have it in stock while divineo.com doesn't.
can anyone tell me if divineo.cn is fine aswell to order from.
plus i'm a cheepo so i take any discount i can. i couldn't believe it was gonna cost me 25 AUD to send them the money.

 

Also I have gone through nearly every major rlease at this point and still no further issues. Looks like this will definately be worth the price.

I hope the M3 team can come up with a firmware update to solve the Castlevania PoR issue.

 

I just ordered my M3 DS Simply from Divineo on Friday night and the website siad that they were in stock. Hopefully there will not be much of a hold up if they are in fact, out of stock becuase I am am reading so many good reviews about the Simply. I've been looking around for a NDS backup platform for some time and the Simply was released just in time for my birthday so I opted to get a sweet gift this year for my DS. Its great because it will play Mp3s, feature .txt reader and (after encoding), even play movies. I used to have a 20 Gb Creative Zen PMC that did some of those tasks but I like that now I will be able to incorporate that into my DS, my favorite gaming platform.

 

can u let me know how u go on divineo and how long it takes u DEJuliano. because i really want to order from divineo than anywhere else but am a sceptic for anything. thanx

0340 - Super Princess Peach (U).nds works fine.

So far none of the games I've tried have failed to work.

 

Originally I tried to order from Divineo. Two of my credit cards were declined multiple times.

I went to modchipstore and had no issues. My first card was accepted the first time I tried.

Divineo's customer service was very unhelpful in resolving the issue. They kept claiming it was my card's fault.

 

Hmm, that makes me even more doubtful about Divineo. Do you thik they might still think up an excuse for an International Money Transfer (IMT). because it sounds like they were trying to trick you into giving you your credit card details.

And does anyone know if you can order them from Australia, or if you will be able to. if so, where please.

I have been following the posts for ages, and i will be ordering 2 cards.

I have been waiting for the cards to come in stock rather than some in stock some out of stock.

There are many good companies that delivery to australia which include

I will wait till they have them in stock and then order, so i dont want to rush into it, plus dont have the money today, but when i do, im alsways cautious and know the cheapest for price and psotage.

I had no problems with my CC on Divineo.com they even showed the Simply in stock. Within few hours I had a tracking # and mine is showing its already on its way. I will post updates as they come regarding shipment.

 

could u actually find the shipping costs for each method, because all i could find was that it was $5 for the cheepest way. If you did please post the costs for the faster methods.

 

I think you will find that although they say they are australia, they actually deliver from China (some of the companies). Delivery is still via EMS (China).

I am also in Melbourne, but cant recall shipping costs. I think one of the sites has shipping included. Do what i do, purchase the item, and go to checkout, this way it shows you full price, but dont actually purchase.

In the next few week i will be looking into it more and making a purchase.

 

hey Kram101, if u live close to me in melbourne would you be interested in ordering me one aswell and then me coming and getting it off you. you wouldn't have to worry about losing your money because we could do a hand to hand swap.

My friend has just spotted the M3 Simply in Hong Kong. Unfortunately it is in Chinese. It is not about the unreadable menu that I am worried about (I can read a bit chinese), its just whether this 'Chinese M3 Simply' functions EXACTLY the same as the english ones. I mean, does the Chinese M3 have the same compatibility of games as the M3 Simple English?

Also, do you think that the M3 Chinese Simply will be able to update with the english firmwares?

All I am hoping is that the CHinese M3 Simply is EXACTLY the same as if I ordered it from Divineo, with the exception of the language.

Does anyone have a chinese version of this?

I ordered my M3 Simply from Divineo and it is comng from China. they should be the same.

 

The board is exactly the same for Chinese/English, it's just a couple of pins on the back of the board that decide on the language. So if you buy the Chinese one, (and you know about soldering) you can change it to english quite easily. There is a post about it somewhere with pictures, have a search for it.

I checked out the download section on M3 Adapter's official site:

System v1.01 - (Console software- English version update)

System v1.01 - (Console software- Chinese BIG5 version update)

System v1.01 - (Console software- Chinese GB version update)

Will I be able to use the English Version Update on my Chinese Simply? If not, which Chinese Update do I pick? And do they all do the same thing?

Also, I believe that there is an intergrated Moonshell with the M3 Simply, I assume that the moonshell will also be in Chinese. I dont know anything about Moonshell,so can someone please tell me is there is much writing within Moonshell, because if there is, it will be a bit troublesome for me to read all that chinese.
