yes. movies have to be converted to .dpg format though. you get the converter with the download.

I agree if you want to watch movies and listen to music PSP is the way to go. in my opinion the M3 is only good for backups.

I only use my M3 for games and homebrew, my PSPs are much better for Video, and I have Ipods and a Creative Zen for music.

HOWEVER, if you don't already have a PSP, then getting an M3 for music and video on the DS is definetly a viable option ($45 for an M3 or $170+ for a PSP)
My brother owns a PSP and DS, but he always uses his DS for video as he prefers some of the advantages of doing so (he dosn't listen to any music so no comment on that front)

Nope but if your buying a new DS just to watch videos and music.... i mean all u have to do is buy a PSP and don't need anything extra. Plus the fellas in the PSP forum will be more then able to help you. But if your buying the DS for the games... and wanna play vids and music then go on ahead.

for music and video PSP > DS
    for games DS > PSP

not saying PSP doesn't have awesome games cuz it does. So do what u will =) but watching movies on my psp makes trips 100% better. and when im bored i pull out my DS to play games. but i have both =P

Also!! almost forgot... you can buy a R4 for about 10$ - 5$ cheaper and it works the same.. thats what i have.

oo yea know that the psp is good for movies and stuff cuz i have one, but everyone keeps telling me that the games for DS is just more FUN. so i just wanted it all in one package. instead of 2 items, i can have one that can do all.

and one more question, can you play with the linking thing that you can play with one game cartrigde from another friend when you have the M3 simply?

no u can. maby i dont understand the question.

If you are playing a game and your friend doesn't u can still use the download game function.

If you both have the game u can play together.

If he has a game and u don't u can still use the download function.
