    Volume Label: Anything, 'M3' maybe?
    Filesystem: FAT16
    Allocation Size: 64k

These tend to be the best settings for game compatibility and speed.

okay but in the drop down menu for file system it only says FAT OR FAT32 so probably FAT means FAT16, right?

    yes fat16 = fat

I have to say I am very happy with my Kingston 1GB Micro SD card solution. it works great.

Is there any way to transfer files to my micro sd card over wifi ? I mean from PC/M3 manager directly to NDS. Probably not, huh ?

There is a program in development called DSFTP or FTPDS which aims to do this, I havn't really been following the project, but if you google it you may find something.

That dosn't sound to promising, the updates shouldn't take much longer than a few minutes.

The error message is probably a result of the GBA game not loading.

Try loading the GBA game by pressing 'Start' instead of 'A'. 'Start' loads the game using a different method, and is sometimes needed for GBA games on SD cards to work.

I have Minish Cap on my M3CF and it works perfectly, so it shouldn't be a compatibilty problem.

I got my M3 DS Simply today installed all the firmware and I am playing my backed up NDS games now. The instructions stated as follows:

"Copy all the files at ‘system\english\skin-*’ on the disk to the root directory of the TF card (including _DS_MENU.DAT ; _DSMSHL.NDS ; skin-*.jpg and Shell folder)"

My question is, after I install all the DS menu.dat and .NDS and the folder and I am playing games, can I remove this folfer and two file from the DS card to save room for more game or do I need to leave them on my card?

Why does it matter to set the FAT and not FAT32? If I leave my card set to FAT32 is should still play my games, right? The FAT32 allows you to read long game name, right? That's all it does.

the M3 does support both FAT and FAT32 filesystems, however the SD versions seem to have soem problems with slowdown in games when using FAT32 (the CF version is uneffected)

FAT32 has more benefits than just long filenames, for example it can also store larger files than FAT and support more storage overall than FAT, amongst others things.

Chose FAT32 if you want, just remember to go to FAT again if any of your games are effected.
