I have used 2 machines to rip movies. One a new Superdrive Powerbook and the other an old G4 with DVD reader (not writer). I haven't yet successfully ripped any movie on the Powerbook but works like a dream on the G4. When I play the Powerbook versions, there are all blocky and look like still encrytped. What is going on? Surely the Superdrive should be perfect? Any help much appreciated as it is driving me nuts!

    HI

Media? Well I'm using Mac the Ripper, and I am using DVD2OneX with a Superdrive. This is before I even bring it in to DVD2OneX. It's all encrypted.

But on the old G4, I am using the extct same versions and it's perfect.

The movies are Sweet Smell of Success, Welcome to Sarajevo, and The Office. The DVDs are probably about 3 to 4 years old.

    What do you think?

    Hi

No this is before I even burn them to disc. The actual DVDs are originals

Yeah that mightdo the trick. Thanks. But now when I try and put it through DVD2OneX, it's coming up that it can't proceed as it's still encrypted! My head is melting.
