I have alot of DVD's old and New.
I am on the road alot. My kids are killing my DVD's.
I have a Mac G4 and have Toast 6 and Popcorn. I use mac the ripper and popcorn. I have been able to burn some back ups. But lately some backs up have been freezing up and you can heard them talking on the movie and then the frame will move. if i hit fast forward it will move and then it will stop again. I still can hear their voice and see the picture (which is messing up). WHAT am I doing wrong. HELP

    HELP

I have had better luck using DVD2oneX to compress the extracted files to a DVD burnable size and then using Toast 6 to do the burn (at a 2x speed). I have used Popcorn but I find it does not give the same quality or control. It is faster but the other method seems more sure.

i agree with phantom on this one. popcorn doesnt give you many options.
dvd2onex does compress and strip. you have the subtitle options. the language options.
on popcorn.. you only get to change the audio if you choose main movie
