mack os wont install

    im trying to install mac os 10.4.9 lintel. when i put the dvd in it loads and executes but freezes at the line darwin kernel version 8.8.1: sat dec 9 22:18:27 azot 2006; semthex:/nebunkadnezar/BUILDE/obl/RELEASE_1368. it just sits ther and wont go further . im tryint to install this on a Toshiba armada m700 . if you know any reason this isn't working plz help . im a noob when it comes to mac.

    Can't help you there... the last time I tried OSx86 was when 60hz was all that was supported
